Francis “Frankie” Kuzler – Class of 2027 | Notre Dame High School, Sherman Oaks, CA
Frankie Kuzler is a 16-year-old student-athlete at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA, bringing a rare combination of athletic skill, academic excellence, and mature leadership to every pursuit. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Frankie began playing baseball at age five and quickly emerged as a standout defensive infielder. As a starter on competitive travel teams, he helped lead his squads to multiple tournament finals, earning praise for his baseball IQ, glove work, and team-first mindset.
At 13, Frankie’s family relocated to California—an important but challenging transition during a key developmental window. Though the timing impacted his integration into the youth baseball ecosystem and path to the high school team, he met every challenge with resilience and focus. He continues to train and compete with the Top Prospect Athletics organization, playing middle infield, third base and centerfield, where his performance reliability and athleticism stand out and allow coaches to confidently position him where ever needed.
In the classroom, Frankie is equally accomplished. As a young Junior taking all AP courses, he earns all straight “A” grades. Embracing opportunity, he was accepted into and completed UCLA’s college-level astrophysics residency and was selected for the Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY) National Leadership Conference. He is known for his intellectual curiosity and discipline, as well as his ability to lead and connect with peers.
Off the field, Frankie is committed to service, volunteering with national organizations including the Rotary Club and Salvation Army. He also trains in HapKiDo, holding a red belt and working toward his black belt. As the eldest of two siblings, he’s a devoted older brother and a grounded, self-motivated individual.
Frankie is seeking a collegiate baseball program that values character, work ethic, and intelligence—on and off the field.
