My name is Jack Guest, and I am a class of 2026 student at John Burroughs High School in Burbank, California. I have a tremendous passion for baseball, and I am currently a pitcher and infielder on the Burroughs varsity team. As a player, I have made the All Tournament Team for Perfect Game, and I was honored with a Scholar Athlete Award from the Burroughs varsity team. For showcase baseball, I love being on TPA Navy and playing with some of the best high school baseball players in the Los Angeles area.
At school, I get excellent grades, and I am a performer in the national champion Powerhouse show choir. Being right by all the big movie studios in LA, our high school has an amazing acting and performance program, and I am proud to be a member of this national championship group. In fact, I was recently elected as the secretary of our Vocal Music Association, which has over 250 members. As an actor, I am also a featured member of the award-winning Burroughs Drama program, which stages top-level dramatic and comedic plays each year.
In college, I plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree with a focus on Education, Musical Theater and Acting. I am interested in playing baseball in college, and I know my ability and work ethic will make me a successful part of any team. I believe in helping others, and I look forward to finding a university which is a great fit for me and my future.
