Eder Basurto is a sophomore at Santa Monica High School, where he maintains a 4.0 GPA while balancing strong academic and athletic commitments. A dedicated student, Eder plans to pursue a college degree in Marine Biology and places a high value on both education and personal development.
Outside of the classroom and baseball field, Eder is actively involved in his community, volunteering at Roosevelt Elementary School where he assists younger students with their schoolwork and academic growth.
On the field, Eder serves as the starting first baseman for the Santa Monica High School Junior Varsity baseball team. He also competes at the travel level with TPA Baseball. With nine years of playing experience, Eder has developed a strong foundation in the game and continues to work toward his goal of playing baseball at the collegiate level.
