My name is Nathaniel Palmer and baseball has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a catcher, I take a lot of pride in being a leader on the field, staying composed under pressure and always putting my team first. I love the strategy behind the game and being involved in every pitch and every play. I’m known for a strong arm behind the plate, high-level defensive skills, quick reactions and good instincts in anticipating plays before they happen.
Off the field, I am part of the medical program at my school and plan to pursue a career in the medical field because helping others is something I’m truly passionate about. I try to bring the same level of dedication, integrity, and professionalism to everything I do, whether it’s baseball, academics, or supporting the people around me.
I believe one of my greatest strengths is being a dependable teammate and leader. I communicate. I show up, I work hard and I do whatever I can to help my team succeed. I carry myself with respect for the game, for my coaches, teammates, and opponents and I’m always working to become the best player, student and person I can be. My mom raised me to lead with respect, loyalty, and heart, both on and off the field, and at the end of the day, I want to be remembered as a great teammate and an even better person.
