My name is Lars Refnes, a 6’4”, 175lb lefty first baseman, pitcher and also play outfield – class of 2028. I work hard, play hard and love the experience of competing with my teammates on the field of play with a team effort leading to victory. As a first baseman, I take pride in my defensive abilities and knowledge of the game and situational awareness. I love pitching – I have good movement on my fastball, good differential and movement on my change-up, late breaking downward slider and curveball. I am also a solid outfielder. As a hitter, I’m a high contact guy using the entire field with power. I am also a very good situational hitter taking an approach that is for the benefit of the team. I have been blessed with a family of good athletes – my sister a D1 track athlete competing in the 800 and heptathalon, my mom played college tennis, and my dad played college baseball and was drafted as a RHP by the Angels and played in the minor leagues. I also love school and have very good grades. My goals are to be the best person I can be, caring, compassionate, helpful, and competitive. I want to play D1 baseball and beyond college. A high quality educational experience is of critical importance to me.
