My name is Jacob Escalante and my whole life has been surrounded by baseball. I am a great teammate and will always pick up my teammates when they are down, and always communicate with them to better each others game overall. I am considered a smooth-handed shortstop who has multiple tools on the field. In the box I can spray the ball to all fields while hitting for average and putting the ball in play consistently. My baseball IQ allows me to take extra bases when running, know when to slow down the other teams momentum, and know what to do ahead of the plays. I believe I am well coached and can adapt to any instruction or position I am needed to play.
