My name is Jack Bluerock-McLeod, and I am passionate about all elements of baseball: playing, umpiring, watching and developing. My goal is to continue to play at the college level while earning a degree at top academic university. As a focused and dedicated student, I maintain a 4.1 GPA and challenge myself academically through Honors courses. In addition to my academic and athletic pursuits, I strive to be a kind and inclusive member of the community, currently serving as the Class of 2029 President at Crespi Carmelite High School.
I have a reputation of being a supportive teammate both on and off the field, and I am the first guy to celebrate my teammates’ successes or offer encouragement when they need it. My coaches view me as a leader who rallies the team in the dugout and on the field, and they know they can always count on me to hustle no matter what they ask me to do. I am coachable, positive, respectful, and strive to be the hardest working guy on the team.
As a player, I am a reliable pitcher with a strong command of the zone and high strike rate. Coaches trust me in high pressure because they know I am mentally tough on the mound. I am also a dependable third baseman with a strong arm, consistently making the out. At the plate, I have strong baseball IQ, hitting to all parts of the field with a mix of contact and power. I am known for my work ethic, leadership, and willingness to be coached, always striving to improve both athletically and personally.
